A 78-year old Bend woman was killed Wednesday night when she attempted to turn onto Reed Market Road from Southeast 27th Street and collided head-on into an oncoming pickup, police said. Redmond police are looking for a man armed with a rifle who robbed the Daisy Quik Shop in southwest Redmond Thursday afternoon, prompting an elementary school lockdown as officers searched the area for the suspect. The robber entered the convenience store at 1242 SW Highland Avenue about 3:10 p.m., said Lt.
