Deputies have released the name of the victim whose body was discovered in a double-wide manufactured home that burned last Wednesday afternoon in the Deschutes River Woods subdivision in Bend.  He has been identified as Lee Anthony Cornelius, born in 1951. Deputies had earlier identified the victim, but had withheld his name pending attempts to notify family members.  According to Sgt. In an Executive Work Session held Tuesday, the Bend City Council appointed Councilors Mark Capell and Jim Clinton to serve on a team set up to negotiate the terms of the final, contractually-binding Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) for Juniper Ridge. In an effort to provide better customer service to citizens, Deschutes County’s Community Development now accepts Visa and MasterCard payments for services. Credit card transactions for services are now available in Bend, La Pine and Redmond. A 23-year old Sisters woman received minor injuries in a collision that occurred Tuesday morning on Highway 20 at Tumalo when a van pulled out in front of her vehicle.  Her two-week old daughter and the other driver were unharmed.
