A La Pine man who allegedly pointed a gun at four teenage girls in Bend Thursday afternoon, then later prompted a lockdown at Mountain View High School when it was reported he was enroute to the school, will likely face multiple felony charges, according to a news release from Bend Police.

Two Bend men were arrested Thursday afternoon for suspected sales of cocaine and methadone, a prescription drug, according to a news release by the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement (CODE) Team.
Christopher Andrew McNaught, 27, and Sean Thomas Mahoney, 22, were apprehended about 1:20 p.m. October 5, and lodged in the Deschutes County Jail to face charges of possession, manufacture, and delivery of cocaine; and the possession and delivery of methadone.

Fire officials credited quick-acting gas station attendants with preventing a potentially disastrous situation from becoming even worse Thursday when they used an emergency gas shut off and attempted to douse the flames of a burning motorhome with fire extinguishers.

Two 13-year-old boys were arrested for ten counts each of second-degree criminal mischief after they allegedly caused $2,300 in damage to several fences, vehicles, sidewalks, and signs in northeast Redmond on Wednesday.
Redmond police officers responded to numerous complaints of black spray paint damage between Northeast Larch Avenue and Northeast Negus Way, from Northeast 5th to 7th Streets, said Lt. Brian McNaughton.

The Bend Fall Festival will be in full swing once again on the streets of Downtown Bend this weekend. The event runs Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
