Severe weather with wind gusts to 55-mph is possible this evening in the Central Oregon area including Bend, La Pine, Prineville, Redmond, John Day, Monument, and Dayville.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe weather alert which remains in effect until 10 p.m. Monday.

BEVERTON, Ore. -- A U.S. research facility has reported the ability to create cloned embryos from adult monkeys.It is the first time that scientists have been able to create viable cloned embryos from an adult primate, The Independent reported.
