During a press conference held at City Hall Friday afternoon, Bend City Attorney Jim Forbes announced the City has filed a complaint, case number 07CV0092SF, in the Circuit Court for Deschutes County against Transit Sales International (TSI), a California business corporation. Two teenage drivers, one who had a provisional driver's license for only one week, were cited for reckless driving after a speed race between the two resulted in a crash on Highway 20 east of Lebanon, troopers reported. The Central Oregon Drug Enforcement (CODE) team captured two more suspected meth dealers Thursday night, the fourth and fifth such arrests on Thursday alone -– bringing the total thus far in 2007 to 26. Deschutes County deputies have arrested one man, and are asking the public’s assistance in locating a second suspect wanted in connection with an assault and the theft of several marijuana plants from a Deschutes River Woods residence southwest of Bend. On January 26, deputies were called to 19308 Kiowa Road in response to a reported robbery, assault, and burglary, Sgt.
