BEND, Ore. -- A 42-year old Bend man died in a hospital emergency room Thursday night after he lost control of his motorcycle, left the road and was thrown from his bike on O.B. Cigarette and marijuana smoking are down among Oregon middle and high school students, and alcohol use remains the same for 11th graders but has increased 28 percent for eighth graders, according to the Oregon Department of Human Services Addictions and Mental Health Division.
