TIRANA - An Albanian opposition lawmaker and journalist said an explosion damaged his car in Tirana but nobody was injured, media reported Tuesday. WASHINGTON - The U.S. House Judiciary Committee issued a subpoena Tuesday demanding documents from Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. The subpoena is the first in the investigation into the firing of eight U.S. attorneys, The Washington Post reported. In the past week, Oregon's average price for a gallon of regular gasoline gained almost six cents and now stands at $3.  At the same time the national average shot up by almost a dime a gallon to $2.79. OSLO - Bad weather in popular skiing areas in Norway kept most Easter weekend vacationers huddled in their lodges. JERUSALEM - Palestinian Authority police said Tuesday that an Israeli report of a Hamas plan to detonate a car bomb in Tel Aviv on Passover is unfounded. ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Alaska plans an anything-goes bear hunt this year to increase the number of moose in one area near Anchorage. The state Department of Fish and Game hopes that 900 to 1,400 black bears will be killed in the designated area, the agency's Suzanne Bowen told the Anchorage Daily News.
