SHAKOPEE, Minn. -- A judge in Scott County, Minn., sentenced Michael Anderson to life in prison without the possibility of parole for killing a woman he found on Craigslist. SONORA, Calif. -- A mass e-mail warning of reservation problems at Yosemite National Park left the U.S. park besieged with telephone calls, an official says. Kenny Karst, public relations manager for Delaware North Cos. BUDAPEST, Hungary -- Hungary's state-run hospitals are lacking more than 6,000 physicians, including psychiatrists and emergency room specialists, a media report said. The government should increase wages in the state-run medical facilities to solve the problem for the long term, the Hungarian news agency MTI said. STOCKTON, Calif. -- A California grand jury indicted four people accused of torturing a 16-year-old boy for a year before he escaped wearing underwear and an ankle shackle. SAN DIEGO -- U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano says a $400 million federal effort will include an upgrading of security at the U.S.-Mexico border. FRANKFORT, Ky. -- Attorneys William Gallion and Shirley Cunningham Jr. defrauded their clients in a diet-drug case out of $94.6 million, an assistant U.S. attorney alleges. ORLANDO, Fla. -- A Florida woman said she survived being attacked by two pit bull terriers in Orlando, Fla., by biting and kicking at the enraged animals.
