GRESHAM, Ore. – An eight-year veteran of the Gresham Police Department died Sunday along with his sister-in-law when they fell to their death while climbing Horsethief Butte in Columbia Hills State Park in Klickitat County, Washington, police reported.

HILLSBORO, Ore. – Originally believed to be a missing persons case, Juanita Rosales-Garcia was not thought to be endangered when she disappeared March 9. Later developments with the discovery of a body prompted police to reclassify the case as murder, and on Friday they arrested her live-in boyfriend after he admitted to beating and stabbing her to death when she threatened to leave him.

TUALATIN, Ore. – Two California men were arrested Saturday night at a local gas station in connection with the alleged sale of marijuana from their vehicle. Officers discovered over six pounds of pot inside, some in plain view and all with an overwhelming odor.

BEND, Ore. -- Albertsons South has donated $2,000 to Bend's Community Center (BCC) to assist with food purchases during their 8-week kitchen remodel process. The Feed the Hungry program, serving 400 - 500 meals to hungry and homeless every Sunday from 1-5 p.m., is continuing throughout the kitchen remodel process.

The 28-year old Bend man led troopers on a pursuit traveling west on Highway 126W about ten miles west of Redmond before he crashed and was arrested for DUII Saturday night.
