 BEND, Ore. – Bend Police officers were able to stop an apparently distraught man who was contemplating jumping to his death from an overpass in northeast Bend Saturday morning.
Bend Police Lt. Gary Mack said a police sergeant was driving north on NE Third Street shortly after 7 a.m., May 24, when he noticed a man on the wrong side of the railing on the Third Street overpass who looked like he was going to jump. Police ... [full story] 1832 times read - No comment posted
