Due to expected robust runs of hatchery spring in the Deschutes and Hood Rivers in 2008, ODFW adopted temporary rules to allow sport anglers to fish for spring. SALEM, Ore. – The summer steelhead season on the Columbia River above the Tongue Point/Rocky Point line opens Monday, June 16. CANYONVILLE, Ore. -- Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers are continuing the investigation into Thursday morning's fatal traffic crash northbound Interstate 5 about four miles south of Canyonville.
