The Oregon State Police Bomb Squad was called in by the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office to investigate a pipe bomb that was found in the Deschutes River under the bridge on Lower Bridge Row. SALEM — State wildlife officials have completed their random computer drawing for controlled hunt big game tags. Results area available by calling 1-800-708-1782 and on ODFW's web site, http://www.dfw.state.or.us/resources/hunting/big_game/controlled_hunts/ . ODFW limits the number of hunters for particular hunts to improve game management and enhance the hunting experience.
