Recreational pilots across the United States are the most recent victims of the rising cost of gasoline in the nation, a report said.
The Washington Post reported Monday that more recreational pilots like 59-year-old Terry McKinney have begun limiting their travel excursions as gasoline prices continue to rise throughout the nation.

CANTON, Ohio - Authorities in Canton, Ohio, have charged policeman Bobby Lee Cutts Jr. with killing his pregnant ex-girlfriend Jesse Marie Davis and hiding her body.
Court documents released Monday showed that police suspect Cutts killed Davis at her home on June 14, hid her body and then provided police with false information during their search for the missing woman, CNN reported.

The Oregon House of Representatives on Friday unanimously approved a measure that will make it a crime to solicit minors over the Internet. The bill, HB 3515, creates the crime of online sexual corruption, which is punishable by up to 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and requires those convicted to register as sex offenders in the state.

MAYWOOD, N.J. - A man who helped at Ground Zero after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks is being investigated for traveling to Cuba with filmmaker Michael Moore.

SAN DIEGO - U.S. Border Patrol agents have arrested a truck driver after discovering 70 undocumented migrants being smuggled across the border from Mexico.
Authorities said the man's semi trailer was specifically designed for human smuggling, The San Diego Union-Tribune reported. The trailer reportedly contained a large freezer chest, cold soda, bottled water and a trapdoor to discreetly unload people.

The Oregon House of Representatives on Saturday approved a measure to rein in the high cost of health care for low- and middle-income Oregonians without health insurance.
