PORTLAND, Ore.  - A former guidance counselor at Troutdale Elementary School was sentenced Monday morning to 97 months’ imprisonment and was ordered to pay a $15,000 fine following his pleas of guilty to one count of receiving child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography.  United States District Court Chief Judge Ancer L. A Marion County man was arrested yesterday after he was found a short distance away from his ex-wife’s apartment, covered in the blood of his former spouses’ boyfriend whom he allegedly beat with a baseball bat as the man lie sleeping. Officials have released few details into the ongoing investigation of an “armed and dangerous” man who sped off when a deputy attempted to stop his pickup for a traffic violation last night.  Deputies say the driver sped away, leading deputies and police officers on a vehicle pursuit throughout north Bend before he ran off the road into an embankment, then fled on foot through the woods armed with a rifle. Serbia - A mass grave suspected of holding the bodies of hundreds of ethnic Albanians killed in the Kosovo War has been found in an abandoned quarry at Raska, Serbia. CAMDEN, N.J. -- Five suspected terrorists were formally charged Tuesday in New Jersey in an indictment alleging they were inspired by al-Qaida.
