 BEND, Ore. – Search and rescue team members located the body of a possibly suicidal 59-year old Bend man Friday afternoon who had earlier called 911 setting off the search near Benham Falls on the Deschutes River south of Bend, Oregon.
The body of David Lynn Kolbus was located about 2 p.m., about two miles downstream from the falls, Deschutes County Sheriff’s Lt. Erik Utter reported in a news release.
