A 23-year-old Bend resident was killed Saturday night in a single-car accident on O.B. Riley Road, approximately ½ mile west of Highway 20.  The accident that claimed the life of Christopher Russell Anderson occurred about 8:30 p.m. on August 12. A 42-year-old Bend man lost his balance while riding in the open bed of a pickup truck, fell out of the truck, and was killed when he was run over by the truck’s tire. The Lake George fire grew by about 350 acres to an estimated 1,000 acres Saturday, moving southwest in the Mt. Washington Wilderness.  According to a news release from the Central Oregon Interagency Dispatch Center, the fire remains at 5 percent containment.
