A 19-year-old Bend man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his stepfather in the elbow with a kitchen knife early this morning, police reported.   Jerid A. ST. LOUIS -- St. Louis police sources confirmed that a large amount of money, possibly more than $40,000, was stolen from an evidence vault. BELGRADE, Serbia — A court in western Serbia sentenced a 49-year-old man to three years in jail for raping an under-age boy. OSAKA, Japan -- Passengers on the Orochi suspended roller coaster at Japan's Expoland got a serious scare when the coaster did not stop to let them off. WARSAW, Poland — Polish doctors in the southern town of Trzebnica operated for six hours to reattach the arm of an 8-year-old boy who had the limb torn off by a washing machine.
