Bend Red Robin General Manager Joins Elite President’s Club
by Bend Weekly News Sources

New President’s Club member John Churm awarded

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. recently announced John Churm from the Red Robin restaurant in Bend, Oregon, is one of only 12 general managers selected from across North America to join its President’s Club. This elite group represents two to three percent of the restaurant chain’s entire operations system.

In recognition of their achievement, Churm received a special, one-of-a-kind President’s Club ring with an insignia of the company’s four core values: Honor, Integrity, Continually Seeking Knowledge and Having Fun. He will also be honored at the company’s annual leadership summit in Miami, Florida in January 2007.

To be inducted into the Red Robin President’s Club, Churm was required to meet the following criteria:  Hold a general manager position for at least one year and demonstrate growing restaurant sales, maximization of profit; and continued Team Member development. In addition, he had to operate the restaurant within the company’s cornerstones and core values, consistently executing high standards during every shift.

“I believe that one of the keys to our success has been recruiting Team Members and managers like John who share our core values and truly care about the great food, great service and great environment we have at Red Robin,” said Gregory A. Hubert, president of Restaurant Development Company, LLC. “Reward programs like the President’s Club have helped us retain quality individuals, like these general managers, and allowed them to grow within the company.”
