Grocery Outlet Celebrates Grand Opening of New Prineville Store

Grocery Outlet Inc. celebrates the Grand Opening of their newest store in Prineville, Oregon on Friday, December 8th, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5 p.m.  To mark the occasion, the Redmond Grocery Outlet joins in the celebration by offering its own festivities.

Characteristic of Grocery Outlet’s style, the grand opening celebrations will continue at both locations, with the Redmond store celebrating its 33rd Anniversary. The festivities will continue throughout the weekend of December 9th and 10th and over the next several weeks, featuring drawings and giveaways to welcome customers into their new store.

The Prineville Chamber of Commerce will join Grocery Outlet Independent Operators Carl and Sharon Shaver in officiating at the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Shoppers are encouraged to enter a drawing for a matching men’s and women’s Boardwalk Deluxe 7-Speed Torker Bicycle Set, Whirlpool super capacity-plus washer/dryer Set, 4’ pine bench handmade by Crooked River Log Furniture & Gifts of Prineville, Pflueger fly package with line, backing and Mt. Cork fly rod case, plus $100 of groceries a month for one year.

In addition, 100 George Foreman Grills will be given away Free December 9th only to the first 100 customers in the door. (Both Store locations)*

*1 per family, must be 18 yrs of age and VALID PICTURE I.D. is required.

The events will be held at the Prineville Grocery Outlet, 1951 NE Third Street; and the Redmond Grocery Outlet, 798 NW Fifth Street.  Store hours at the Prineville location are Monday-Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Redmond store’s hours are Monday-Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

SATURDAY -– December 9th Grocery Outlet Events -- Prineville & Redmond : Free George Foreman Grills -– First 100 Customers

  • Coffee and refreshments 8 a.m.
  • $1 Hot Dog & Soda Sale -– Proceeds benefit Prineville Future Farmers of America (Prineville) and Horse N’Around 4H (Redmond) Noon – 3 p.m.
  • Free Spin & Win on the Wheel of Bargains, 10 a.m. to Noon and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Free Balloons throughout the day

  • Coffee and refreshments 8 a.m.
  • $1 Hot Dog & Soda Sale -– Proceeds benefit Prineville Future Farmers of America (Prineville) and Horse N’Around 4H (Redmond) Noon – 3 p.m.
