Prineville Police have released a video of two people, a male and a female, who they say are “persons of interest” in connection with a theft at a local Laundromat on Saturday afternoon, and are asking the public’s help in identifying them.
Chief Eric Bush said a theft occurred at the Sunshine Laundry, located at 389 NW 4th Street, on February 3 between noon and 3 p.m. The video is available online.

Bush declined to disclose further details, including what may have been stolen, citing a desire to avoid jeopardizing the investigation. He said the value of the item or items stolen was less than $1,000.
Anyone who can identify either of the two individuals is asked to call police at 541.447.4168 and should speak to either Officer Mark Monroe or a supervisor.
