According to a news release prepared by Bend Police Lt. John Gautney as a member of the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement (CODE) Team,  detectives from CODE and CERT, the Central Oregon Emergency Response Team, executed search warrants on residences at 318 SW ‘G’ Street and 453 SW Lincoln Street at 5:50 a.m., May 28.

25 grams of methamphetamine, 30 grams of “cut” material commonly used to increase the amount of meth prior to resale, and $5,000 in cash were discovered and seized, Gautney said.

Numerous people were at the two homes during the raid, temporarily detained and then released after they were interviewed, he reported.

Three people were arrested at the Lincoln Street address: Jose Francisco Hernandez Lopez, 28; Jose Monje Figueroa, 31; and Roselia Hernandez Lopez, 24. Four children from two to seven-years of age belonging to Figueroa and Roselia Lopez were removed from the home and placed in protective custody, the lieutenant said.

The fourth person arrested, Juan Miguel Lopez, 24, was at the “G” Street residence.

The four adults arrested were lodged in the Jefferson County Jail. Juan Lopez was charged with possession of meth; Jose Lopez with frequenting a place where drugs are used, kept or sold; Jose Figueroa with possession of meth, conspiracy to deliver meth, frequenting a place where drugs are used, kept or sold, and four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor; Roselia Lopez was charged with frequenting a place where drugs are used, kept or sold and four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, the lieutenant said.

CODE and CERT were assisted by Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers, an OSP drug-detecting dog, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies, Madras Police Officers, a Prineville Police Drug K9, and Oregon Child Protection Services.
