The two-month investigation gathered information suggesting that Randy K. Schley was in possession of child pornography, Sgt. Kevin Dizney said. Detectives seized a computer during the investigation that was found to contain the child pornography. “This case did not involve the solicitation of children,” the sergeant added.
Schley was taken into custody about 3 p.m. and lodged in the Deschutes County Jail in lieu of $450,000 bail. The investigation is continuing as detectives attempt to determine the source of the photographs.
