Police seek missing teen in Central Oregon area
by Cheryl McDermott

18-year-old  “mentally challenged” woman may have been abducted; She is a former Oregon resident with family in the Prineville area, and was last seen with a Hispanic man

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating an 18-year-old woman described as “mentally challenged” who disappeared, possibly abducted, from near her Bridley, California home Tuesday.  She was last seen with a Hispanic man, and may be in the Central Oregon area.

Anyone who sees Nora Loreta Hollinger (“Lori” or “Lori Shepherd”), or the Hispanic male she was last seen with, are asked to immediately contact police.

Nora Loreta Hollinger, known as “Lori”, or "Lori Shepherd" argued with her foster mother and left her home on foot.  She has not been seen or heard from since, Gridley-Biggs Police report.

The missing teen’s foster mother said she is extremely frightened of authorities and may run if contacted.  She is not on any medication and has no physical disability.

Lori has family in the Prineville area, and is a former resident of Sutherlin, Oregon, police said.

She is described as 5-foot 3-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a white-striped shirt and black capri pants, and was not wearing shoes.

Lori was last seen in the company of a Hispanic man, 30 to 40 years old, 5-foot 9-inches to 5-foot 10-inches tall, weighing 230-240 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.  The man speaks fluent English, police said.

Both Crook County Sheriff's deputies and officers with the Prineville Police Department are assisting with the investigation, said county Undersheriff Jim Hensley, but anyone who has knowledge of the whereabouts of either of these two individuals is asked to call the Gridley-Biggs Police Department at (530) 846-5678.
