Drug raid on Terrebonne mobile home results in man’s arrests
by Cheryl McDermott

Following a two-month investigation, on Tuesday evening detectives arrested a Terrebonne man suspected of drug sales following a raid on the suspect’s mobilehome where methamphetamine, packaging materials and digital scales, and almost $4,600 in cash were found.

Central Oregon Drug Enforcement (CODE) team detectives received credible information that Carlos Cardona Flores, 28, was involved in the sales of meth and cocaine from his trailer in Space # 3 of the Rustic Ranch Mobile Home Park at 8045 N. Hwy. 97 in Terrebonne, said Deschutes County Sheriff’s detective Sgt. Scott Shelton.

Detectives monitored Flores’ activities in and around the Redmond and Terrebonne areas, Shelton said, which resulted in evidence sufficient to obtain a search warrant for the suspect’s residence.

CODE team members assisted by Deschutes County Sheriff’s deputies executed the warrant about 7:30 p.m. March 14, and discovered about six ounces of crystal meth, a small amount of cocaine, packaging materials and digital scales, and about $4,575 in cash.  The sergeant estimated the street value of the methamphetamine at $6,600.

Flores was taken into custody and lodged in the Deschutes County Jail.  He is charged with possession, delivery, and manufacture of both cocaine and methamphetamine; and also faces charges for conspiracy related to cocaine and meth sales.

Flores lives only three spaces away in the same trailer park as Ramon Arreola Rodriguez, a man who was arrested 1½ hours earlier for allegedly selling drugs in Redmond. Due to the ongoing investigation, Sgt. Shelton declined to comment on whether the two cases are related.
