The same two Prineville teenagers arrested in connection with a burglary at Bi-Mart less than a week ago have been arrested again – this time in connection with graffiti “tagging” of numerous businesses in Prineville with paint they alleged stole from an equipment shed of a local little league field.
According to Prineville Police Chief Eric Bush, Robert James Atkinson, 18, and an unnamed 17-year-old boy are charged with second-degree burglary, four counts of second-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree theft.

“Possible additional charges for both suspects are pending,” Bush said.
Ray’s Food Place, Sears, and The Plaza had extensive damage, with Ochoco Lumber, Brooks Resources and Oregon Department Of Transportation also being “hit” with the same white paint, believed stolen on July 18 from the equipment shed at the Les Schwab League Little League field. The paint and other items stolen were recovered from Atkinson’s residence, Bush said.
Atkinson was lodged in the Crook County Jail, and the teenager was turned over to juvenile authorites.
