Following a lengthy investigation lasting nearly a year, drug agents raided a Prineville apartment on Thursday morning and arrested a 54-year old woman when methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and items related to the alleged sale of illegal drugs were seized.

Bend Police Lt. John Gautney, working with the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement (CODE) team, said that agents had been investigating Gloria Eloise Peters for eleven months before they obtained a search warrant for the apartment at 940 NW Second Street in Prineville.  Detectives, assisted by Prineville Police officers, raided the residence about 9 a.m. August 9.

CODE team members found and seized 2.7 grams of meth, a small amount of marijuana, drug records, digital scales, material commonly used for packaging illegal drugs, and other drug paraphernalia, Gautney reported.

Peters was taken into custody and lodged in the Crook County Jail where she is charged with the unlawful possession, delivery, and manufacture of methamphetamine.
