Police officers arrested a man accused of repeatedly stabbing his older brother in the face during a fight early Saturday morning after responding to a southwest Redmond residence following a series of 911 hang-up calls.
According to a news release issued by the Redmond Police Department, when officers arrived at the 2000 block of SW 30th Street about 12:30 a.m. they found Andres Espinoza, 20, in front of the home, bleeding from the hand.

Shortly thereafter, Espinoza’s older brother, Rudolfo, 26, exited the home bleeding “profusely” from the face.
An investigation determined that the brothers, who live together, got into a fight and Andres armed himself with a knife and repeatedly cut his brother in the face. The younger brother suffered superficial wounds to his hand, Captain Brian McNaughton wrote in the news release.
Andres Espinoza was taken into custody and lodged in the Deschutes County Jail. He is charged with second-degree domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
Captain McNaughton did not provide any details regarding possible treatment of the elder brothers’ injuries.
