Ski for Schools date changed (again) to Dec. 7
by Bend Weekly News Sources

Mt. Bachelor has officially announced a new date for the “Ski for Schools” event – it is now slated for Friday, December 7.   This is the second time the date has been changed, the first when weather conditions did not cooperate.

General Manager and President Matt Janney explains, “several reasons led us to change the date: more terrain will be open, skiers can plan ahead and area schools will be closed allowing students to participate in their own fundraising event.”

Mountain crews are on site 24 hours per day ready to work with what Mother Nature provides.  Weather forecasts call for lower temperatures with natural snow and snowmaking conditions anticipated.  “We want to offer the community the best experience possible in order to maximize the fundraiser,” says Frankie Labbé, Communications Manager.

Ski for Schools tickets are $15 and must be purchased in advance. 100% of pre-sold ticket proceeds will benefit the Redmond, Bend/La Pine education foundations. The $15 pre-sale tickets are on-sale now and have been extended to Friday November 23 at the below locations.

Ski for School tickets will NOT be available at Mt. Bachelor ticket windows or retail outlets on the day of the event - so buy your tickets now.
