An investigation of recovered stolen property that was tied to two residential burglaries in late September and early October resulted in the arrest of three teenage boys Saturday, said authorities.
Deschutes County Sheriff’s deputies recovered some found property near Sisters on October 19, 2006 that was ultimately tied to two residential burglaries -- one just west of Bend and the other east of Sisters.
An investigation led to the identification and arrest of the three boys, all students of Sisters High School, said Sgt. Vance Lawrence. All three juveniles are suspected of being involved in the Bend burglary, and two of the three are believed to have been involved in the Sisters burglary.
The three were taken into custody on November 4 and lodged at the Deschutes County Juvenile Detention Center, said the sergeant, and will likely face charges including burglary, theft and criminal mischief. The investigation is continuing.
