A 39-year old Bend man -- a convicted felon -- was arrested late Wednesday night after he allegedly violated a restraining order, menaced his wife with a firearm, and made statements threatening to harm himself and others with a gun, police reported.

Theodore Rojas, 39, was taken into custody after Bend police officers responded to a call placed by Rojah’s 38-year old wife, Jennifer, at 170 NE Telima Lane about 8:30 p.m, March 5, Sgt. Brian Kindel wrote in a news release.

The suspect was lodged in the Deschutes County Jail and faces charges including menacing, restraining order violation, and felon in possession of a firearm.

On Thursday, police executed a search warrant at the Telima Lane address and seized additional firearms which Sgt. Kindel said were in violation of Rojas' restraining order and his status as a felon.
