BEND, Ore. – A 25-year old Bend woman was struck and injured by a train at a railroad crossing in northeast Bend early Saturday morning, police reported.
Few details were released, but Bend Police Sgt. Tom Pine said officers and Bend Fire paramedics responded to the crossing at NE Olney about 12:45 a.m., May 17.
The unidentified woman was transported by ground ambulance to St. Charles Medical Center where she was being treated for unspecified injuries, Pine said.
