Dec 26,2006 Police Catch Burglar Inside Deli by Richard Burton
A man who allegedly broke into a southeast Bend deli early Friday morning was taken into custody without incident, said police.
Officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress about 2:30 a.m. December 22, and found an exterior window of the Parkway Deli located at 1095 SE Division Street broken, said Sgt. Chris Carney with Bend Police.

Officers discovered David Allen Dillon, 48, inside the deli and placed him under arrest.
Dillon was lodged in the Deschutes County Jail and will face charges of second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree theft, and second-degree criminal trespassing.
