According to Capt. Alex Maich of the Redmond Police Department, Charles Wimer and Kasey Lynn Guthrie were apprehended with the assistance of Crook County Sheriffs Office near Lone Pine about midnight.

Both the 26 year old man and 35 year old woman were arrested and lodged in the Deschutes County Jail and will face charges of Robbery II, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery II, and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

The bank robbers who fled the scene prior to Officers arriving did not display a weapon when robbing the bank, said Officer Brad McMurrian. A description of one vehicle was broadcasted to Law Enforcement, who a short time later found the auto but also found the suspects had abandoned it and fled in another vehicle.

The investigation is continuing, and anyone having information related to this incident is urged to contact the Redmond Police Department.
