A 36-year old Bend man died early this morning of injuries he sustained when he jumped from a moving vehicle during an argument with his wife, police reported.
Bend Police officers and Bend Fire paramedics responded to a report of an injured man at Highway 20 West and Robal Lane in the north part of Bend, Oregon shortly before 7 a.m. May 31, Lt. Gary Mack said.
Officers and paramedics found Patrick Allan Giamanco deceased on the east side of Highway 20.
Mack said that Giamanco was arguing with his wife, 30-year old Patricia Carolina Giamanco, when he opened the door and “left” the vehicle as it traveled west on Highway 20 at an unknown speed.Information regarding whether the man jumped or fell was not disclosed.
Investigation did not reveal any evidence of foul play, Mack said, adding that the death is believed to be “self-inflected”.
I attended church with Patrick in San Diego before he moved to Oregon. The news of this tragedy has saddend many. He was a great and fun-loving part of our circle of friends. He will be missed but I take comfort knowing that he dearly loved the Lord and is in Heaven praising God now. With my whole heart I pray for the wife and children he left behind.

Very sad indeed. I drove by this accident on my way to work yesterday morning. I had no idea that someone had died or even jumped from their vehicle. My prayers are with your family.
