Fair & Expo Center Seeks Info on Missing Jewelry
by Bend Weekly News Sources

Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center officials learned late yesterday that a large amount of jewelry went missing the last evening of the Deschutes County Fair. In the hope of helping the jewelry vendor find the merchandise, officials seek the help of Deschutes County citizens.

The valuable jewelry went missing after 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 5th from an outdoor jewelry vendor booth. In previous evenings, the vendor had taken the jewelry home. The vendor believes the jewelry, held in a black bag, may have fallen between display cabinets. Upon returning to their booth Sunday morning, the vendor realized the jewelry was missing.

Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center management is seeking any information leading to the safe return of the missing jewelry or to the discovery of who has taken the merchandise.

Please call 548-2711 with any information you can share about the missing jewelry.
