According to Sgt. Dan Ritchie of the Bend Police Department, officers were called to the accident scene on SE 15^th Street north of Knott Road shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday, August 19.

Officers discovered 23-year-old Adam Jordan had been ejected from his 1989 Toyota pickup after the vehicle he was driving left the road and rolled several times over an embankment.  Live saving efforts were attempted at the scene, however Jordan succumbed to his injuries.

The accident remains under investigation, Sgt. Ritchie said.
