OKLAHOMA CITY -- Five people were killed on Interstate 35 in Oklahoma early Sunday when a car going the wrong way struck another vehicle.
Sofia Roberts, 48, was driving north in the southbound lane when her car collided head-on with a vehicle carrying six people, The Daily Oklahoman reported.
Roberts and four of the other car's passengers -- Mathew Winton, 23, Monica Countryman, 18, Gary Givens, 23, and Rebekah Burgess, 21 -- were killed. Two other passengers from the second car were taken to a hospital in critical condition.
After the collision, the second car spun around and hit another southbound vehicle, whose driver refused medical treatment.
Only the three drivers were wearing seatbelts, the newspaper said.
