DENVER -- A 60-year-old Colorado man is suing an 8-year-old boy and his father for a skiing collision that caused tendon damage to the man's shoulder.
David Pfahler says the 8-year-old's careless skiing caused the collision that tore a tendon in Pfahler's shoulder, KUSA-TV in Denver reported Friday.
The boy's father told the television station his son didn't violently collide with Pfahler and was only trying to pass by the man on the slopes.
Pfahler sued for $75,000 for medical and other expenses.
Colorado law forbids suing a minor and that portion of the suit is expected to be dismissed, KUSA-TV said.
