CINCINNATI - Arraignment for an Ohio man accused of killing his wife and four children has been delayed indefinitely.
Michel Veillette was to have been arraigned in Mason Municipal Court Tuesday, but Warren County Prosecutor Rachel Hutzel said the hospital is not ready to release Veillette, The Cincinnati Enquirer reported.
Veillette, 34, has been hospitalized with unspecified injuries since his family was found dead. The prosecutor said she did not know when Veillette would be released from the hospital.
He is charged with murder, aggravated murder and aggravated arson for allegedly fatally stabbing his wife, Nadya Ferrari-Veillette, 33, and starting a fire believed to have killed his four children -- Marguerite, 8, Vincent, 4, and 3-year-old twins Jacob and Mia.
Veillette was found Friday in the front yard of the house and was taken to University Hospital with stab wounds and other injuries, the newspaper reported.
He is expected to be released from the hospital to the Warren County Jail this week, Hutzel said.
