SAN FRANCISCO - The head of the California-based John Burton Foundation for Children Without Homes is suing her employer for alleged sexual harassment.
The $10 million lawsuit, filed Wednesday in Superior Court, alleges John Burton made unwanted advances toward Kathleen Driscoll, who is on leave from her position, the Los Angeles Times said Thursday.
Driscoll alleges the former state Senate president, who is 75, used suggestive language and commented on her body. She said that he continued despite her complaints to him and other foundation board members.
