Two children shot to death in Kentucky
by UPI

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Two children in Louisville, Ky., Thursday were found shot to death, police said.

Authorities are investigating possible connections between the killings and an incident earlier in the day in which a woman with a gun was stopped on the University of Louisville campus, WKLY-TV, Louisville, K.Y., reported.

The station reported that the University of Louisville issued a safety alert when a woman held a counselor at gunpoint in the health services building. Shortly after, Metro Police said they got a call from campus police to

check on some nearby children, WKLY reported.

"The homicide unit is investigating," said Metro Police Detective Phil Russell. "There's many facts surrounding this case that they are trying to piece together at this time."
