AKRON, Ohio -- Akron, Ohio, police say they are trying to determine if a weekend robbery at a college fraternity party is connected to a string of other holdups.
Two men with a gun strolled into a party at Kappa Sigma frat house at the University of Akron and began relieving the revelers of their wallets.
"I blocked my wallet from him, then he pushed me up against the wall and put the gun between my eyes, and that's when I noticed the hammer was actually cocked back on the gun," freshman Daniel Dixon told WEWS-TV in Cleveland.
Police reported eight similar robberies since Wednesday, with the sites including convenience stores and a dry cleaner.
The descriptions of the suspects in each incident have differed so it isn't clear if they are connected.
