HOUSTON - Police say dental records will determine whether the decomposed body of a woman found in Houston is that of missing kidnap victim Susana De Jesus.
Authorities discovered a woman's body in the back of a truck trailer based on information provided by a man charged in an attempted carjacking in suburban Pearland, Texas, the Houston Chronicle reported Wednesday.
Car-jacking suspect Nicholas-Michael Edwin Jean, 21, of Pearland, hasn't been charged with any involvement in the abduction of De Jesus, said Jeri Yenne, Brazoria County district attorney.
Houston homicide investigators questioned Jean Tuesday but haven't revealed anything he told them about De Jesus that led them to the possible discovery of her body, the Chronicle said.
The 37-year-old woman was abducted from a Pearland-area parking lot Feb. 2 by a masked man who forced De Jesus into her 2008 Cadillac at gunpoint.
