by Bend Weekly News Sources

Yard debris, household waste, appliances will be picked up within City limits April 9-13

High Country Disposal will be providing free collection of yard debris, miscellaneous household waste and appliances the week of April 9-13.  All material should be set out by 6:00 a.m. in the same general location as garbage roll carts on the same day as regular garbage service.  Collection is for residences located within the City of Redmond only.

Free collection is limited to the following:
*   Three cubic yards of yard debris (approximately one full size pickup truck load). Cut to three-foot lengths and stacked in a pile.

*   Four cubic yards of miscellaneous household waste that is bagged or in garbage cans.

*   Four appliances.  All appliances must be emptied of food, water, clothing, etc.

Keep items separated from each other and at least four feet away from roll carts, recycling bins and mailboxes.  Additional material in excess of above limits can be collected for charge.

What not to set out:
Items not accepted include furniture, hazardous waste, chemicals, paint, tires, wood stoves, heavy metal, toilets, lawnmowers or computers.

Please contact High Country Disposal at 548-4984 with any questions.  Pick-up after the scheduled free event is subject to charge.

This free event is made possible and funded by High Country Disposal and the City of Redmond to help keep Redmond clean.
