‘GROWL’ classes for dogs exhibiting leash aggression, and massage classes for older or arthritic dogs
The Humane Society of Central Oregon is offering specialized dog classes in May. Due to popular demand, a senior dog massage class will be on May 5. For dogs that exhibit leash aggression, a GROWL dog training class will be offered for the first time in Bend beginning May 12.
Due to the success and demand of previous classes The Humane Society of Central Oregon is offering another senior and arthritic dog massage class that will help your canine friend stay active and comfortable. Martina Muller, M.Ed of Kindred Spirit Massage will teach simple stretches and massage strokes that will help loosen stiff joints. The class on Saturday, May 5 will take place at the Humane Society from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The class is free, but donations graciously accepted. The GROWL dog training class is a six-week course for dogs that are aggressive on leash. The class begins May 12 at the Humane Society of Central Oregon from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Through positive and reward-based training, Meredith Gage of Pawsitive Experience will teach how to modify this aggressive dog behavior. The class is limited to six dogs for quality training. Tuition is $150.
