10/15.  A Bend man reported that he was parked in the upper lot at Central Oregon Community College (COCC), with his Toyota 4Runner next to a van.  The driver of the van apparently gave permission to 10-15 college students to kick and dent his van.  While repeatedly kicking his van, the students also did $1,000 in damage to the Toyota as well.  Officers interviewed several people, but no one admitted culpability and no arrests were made.

10/15.  Officers responded to a reported shoplifting incident at Costco.  When patting down the suspect, the Redmond man said he had a marijuana pipe in his pocket.  Officers found a baggy of methamphetamine in his wallet and he was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

10/17.  An unknown subject caused $400 in damage to an exterior window, and $200 to a door-jamb when an attempted burglary occurred at the River’s Edge Golf Course Pro Shop.  A pry bar was found inside, but nothing was found missing.

10/19.  A Bend resident of NW Congress Street left her home unlocked and when she returned five hours later someone had stolen two Ipods valued at $500.

10/19.  Two Prineville women were arrested when they admitted to stealing a set of sheets, a package of pillow cases, and a key chain from Fred Meyer on South Highway 97.

10/19.  A $1,200 bicycle was stolen from in front of Albertsons on NE 3rd Street.  The owner, a La Pine man, left the bike unsecured.
