Caldera Springs resort community has announced that 240 homesites, 75% of all sites available in the entire Caldera Springs community, sold within the first six months. Demand for homesites in the area adjacent to Sunriver and Crosswater reached a new high at the selection event held in late August.
“As the first new resort community in the Sunriver area since 1994, we knew we’d have strong interest, but we never imagined that we’d see this kind of response in less than a year,” said Tom Luersen, Managing Director of Sunriver Resort -- the team that created Caldera Springs.
Homesites purchased at the event ranged from $295,000 to the mid-$400,000s. Selections included wooded homesites from one-third acre to large parcels of more than an acre, plus several golf and water view properties.
Major amenities have been started, with completion dates ahead of schedule. “The best is yet to come,” according to Steve Runner, Director of Development. “The Lake House, Quarry pool and fitness center, Golf Links, lakes and trails are all taking shape. Our owners are growing more and more excited about the community as they see all this progress.”
The first new homes are also underway. Foundation work has begun on several custom homes, with as many as 20 slated to begin before the end of the year.
