Adults boogie to benefit local H.S. graduation parties
by Bend Weekly News Sources

Play it Again Prom supports senior night parties for Bend Senior High and Mountain View High School

It’s time to dust off your blue suede shoes and get ready to dance at the “Play it Again Prom”, an adult event that supports the drug and alcohol-free graduation parties for Mountain View High School and Bend Senior High.

The Prom will be held on Saturday, February 10 from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. at Bend Senior High School. The Valentine theme makes it the perfect venue for sweethearts, or for anyone who wants to enjoy a night of fun. It features dance music for all ages, desserts and beverages, a silent auction, a student-art auction, corsages and optional valet parking in an alcohol and smoke-free environment.

“There will even be dance lessons for those of us who need to brush up on our salsa moves,” said Laurie Gould, co-chair of the Bend Senior High grad party. “Last year’s event was a lot of fun. There were people in ballroom gowns, cheerleader uniforms, blue jeans and vintage prom attire. If you want to relive your prom days, or to just enjoy an evening with friends, the Play it Again Prom is the place to be.”

Tickets are $25 and are available at the door or by calling 382-7317. The Play it Again Prom is sponsored by Rasmussen Masonry and Steve Scott Realtors.
