McKay High School student arrested for bomb threat

Police arrested an 18-year-old McKay High School student for leaving a note threatening to detonate a bomb in a Salem, Oregon high school.
Mark Steven Gray, an 18-year old student at the school, was arrested for leaving a note in a bathroom on February 6th stating that a bomb was going to go off at McKay High School on February 8th.

The note was found written on a wall of a bathroom and was immediately reported to staff, who notified the school resource officer. The school resource officer began an investigation, and after contacting several students, arrested the suspect without further incident at the school on Thursday.
”At this time it appears as though the threat was not a viable one and no explosive devices were found,” police said.
Gray was arrested for first-degree disorderly conduct and was transported to the Marion County Corrections Facility.
