A 15-year-old bicyclist struck and killed by a TriMet bus in Beaverton, Oregon Monday afternoon has been identified as Austin Miller, a student of the Arts and Communication High School.

The Traffic Division of the Beaverton Police Department is continuing the investigation into the fatal crash involving a TriMet bus that occurred about 4:40 p.m., February 11, at the intersection of SW Murray Boulevard and SW Farmington Road.

Police and Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue personnel first received reports that the victim was injured, but upon arrival found Miller deceased at the scene, a news release stated.

Police reported westbound lanes of SW Farmington Road were closed for several hours during an on scene investigation.
